Sangre de Cristo Warmbloods is based out of the Taos Equestrian Center.
We are fortunate to have one of the best riding and training facilities in
Northern New Mexico, including a covered arena with rubber crumb
footing, a full size outdoor stadium jumping arena, a six stall fully
enclosed barn with turn outs, paddocks with loafing sheds, and indoor
wash room with hot/cold water, indoor tack room, covered grandstands at
each arena, judges stand, a cross country course, a full set of stadium
jumps, dressage letters, gymkhana equipment, and plenty of room for
trailer turn around. Very easy access to national forests and trail riding.
24 hour surveillance, owner Katherine Pettus, PhD lives on-site (her home
is actually connected to the barn!).
Our facility is available to host horse shows and clinics, please
email for
more information and rates. We also welcome haul-ins for arena use and
offer a discount for multiple uses purchased in bulk.
While we only show our sale horses by appointment, we are glad to have
visitors at our barn. Please call to ensure that we aren't out trail riding or
in town running errands. (505)-758-7542
